Ingredients list for Grilled Calzone-SK Khazana

  • 250 grams Readymade pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Corn kernels boiled
  • 150 grams Boneless chicken boiled and shredded
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • 4 tablespoons Pizza sauce
  • for grilli Oil


  1. Knead the dough a little and divide into 4 equal portions.
  2. Mix together onion, red capsicum, green capsicum, corn kernels, chicken, mozzarella cheese, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl.
  3. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough portions on it and roll out into thin discs.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce on half the disc and place generous amount of chicken mixture on top. Bring over the edge and fold into a crescent shape. Seal the edges with a fork. Similarly make more calzones.
  5. Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the calzones on it and grill, turning sides, till evenly done on both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Halve and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
