Ingredients for GRAPE SODA Recipe

  • Black grapes halved 1 cup

  • Sugar 1/4 cup

  • Drinking soda 4 cups

  • Fresh mint leaves 20-24

  • Lemon juice 8 teaspoons

  • Black grapes frozen 12-16

  • Lemon slices 4 to garnish

Method

Step 1

To prepare grape compote, heat a non-stick pan, add sugar, ¼ cup water and black grapes and mix well. When the water comes to a boil, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or till grapes soften and mixture thickens. Transfer in a bowl and cool.

Step 2

To prepare each portion, put 2 tablespoons grape compote in each serving glass, tear and add 5-6 mint leaves Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 cup drinking soda and 3-4 frozen black grapes and mix gently.

Step 3

Serve chilled garnished with a lemon slice.
