By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Baking powder Cuisine American Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Funnel Cake 4 cup Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 cup brown sugar/jaggery 3 Eggs 2 cups Milk 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence for deep-frying Oil for dusting Icing sugar Method Sieve together flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Add brown sugar and mix. Cream eggs, milk and vanilla essence, in another bowl, till light. Fold in the flour mixture till smooth. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Pipe out small discs and deep-fry till golden and crisp all around. Drain on absorbent paper. Dust icing sugar on top and serve hot.
