Ingredients list for Fruit Pulp Bread
- 1½ cups Fruit pulp (kiwi, orange, apple, lemon, grapefruit)
- 2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- + for greasing Butter softened, 1 cup
- 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1½ Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1/3 cup Orange juice
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C. Grease a loaf tin with some butter.
- Sieve together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a bowl.
- Cream together butter and castor sugar in another bowl till creamy.
- Add eggs and milk and beat till light and fluffy. Add orange juice and fruit pulp and mix well.
- Add flour mixture and fold in well to make a batter.
- Pour the batter into the greased tin, place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for thirty to thirty-five minutes. Remove from oven, cool down to room temperature and demould.
- Slice and serve.
