Fried Calamari Deep-fried squids served with a mayonnaise-garlic dip. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2016 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Squids, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Fried Calamari 4-5 Squids cleaned and cut into ½ cm rings ¾ cup Refined flour (maida) to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns for deep-frying Oil For dip - ½ cup Mayonnaise 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped ½ tablespoon lemon juice For garnishing - a few Parsley a few Lemon wedges Method In a zip lock bag add flour, salt, pepper and squids. Close the bag and shake it. Strain the ingredients of the bag in a bowl through a strainer. Deep fry the squids till golden brown in colour. Set aside. In a bowl take mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic mix well. Serve the mayo dip with fried hot calamari.
