Ingredients for Fish Nuggets - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Fish fillets cut into 2 inch pieces 500 grams

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon 1/2

  • Eggs 2

  • Refined flour for coating

  • Dried breadcrumbs for coating

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

  • Tartar sauce to serve

Method

Step 1

Take the fish pieces in a large bowl, add crushed black peppercorns, salt and ginger-garlic paste. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into it and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, break 2 eggs into another bowl. Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and whisk well with a fork.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 4

Spread refined flour on one plate and dried breadcrumbs on another plate.

Step 5

Coat each fish piece with flour, dip in the egg mixture and roll in the breadcrumbs.

Step 6

Slide the fish pieces, a few at a time, into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 7

Transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with parsley and serve hot with tartar sauce.
