Ingredients list for Eggless Sponge Cake
- 140 grams + for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 120 grams + for greasing Butter
- 1 cup Condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 80 ml Milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Sift together refined flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl.
- Combine butter and condensed milk in another bowl. Blend well with an electric blender.
- Add vanilla essence and blend again.
- Add flour mixture and blend again to mix.
- Add milk and blend once again. Mix well with the help of a spatula and set aside for sometime.
- Grease the cake tin with either butter and dust with flour or line with butter paper. Place batter in it and spread evenly.
- Put the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Demould, cut into wedges and serve.
