Ingredients
- ¾ cup +1 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
- ½ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
Method
- Preheat oven to 180˚ C.
- Cream together butter and vanilla essence till light.
- Sieve together refined flour, cornflour, powdered sugar and baking soda into the mixture and fold well.
- Add desiccated coconut and mix till well incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape them into cookies and place on a baking tray.
- Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
- Serve or store in air tight containers.
