Ingredients list for Egg and Mayo Sandwich

  • 6 Eggs soft boiled and peeled
  • Mayonnaise as required
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 2 Onions small finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves
  • 3/4 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter for toasting
  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

  1. Take eggs on a plate, lightly mash using a fork. Add onion, chopped coriander and chilli powder and salt and lightly mix.
  2. Apply mayonnaise on bread slices and place a generous portion of the prepared mixture on one slice of bread and cover with another slice of bread.
  3. Heat butter in a non-stick tawa, place the prepared sandwich on it and cook till golden brown. Flip the sandwich and add butter on the sides.
  4. Halve the sandwich and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
