Ingredients list for Drunk Chicken-SK Khazana
- 6 Chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup Dark rum
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- to taste Salt
- 1 sprig Fresh thyme
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoons Oil
Method
- Put chicken drumsticks in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, crushed peppercorns, salt, thyme and 1 teaspoon paprika, mix well and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat brown sugar in a non-stick pan. Add rum, remaining paprika and butter, mix and let the butter melt.
- Add salt, stir to mix and bring to a boil. Cook till the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Heat oil in another non-stick pan. Add marinated chicken drumsticks and cook, rotating the drumsticks till they get seared all around. Cover and cook till chicken is browned.
- Add rum sauce, mix, cover and cook till the chicken is fully done.
- Serve hot.
