By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken drumsticks, Dark rum Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Drunk Chicken-SK Khazana 6 Chicken drumsticks 1/2 cup Dark rum 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste to taste Black peppercorns crushed to taste Salt 1 sprig Fresh thyme 1 1/2 teaspoons Paprika 1 tablespoon Brown sugar 1 tablespoon Butter 2 tablespoons Oil Method Put chicken drumsticks in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, crushed peppercorns, salt, thyme and 1 teaspoon paprika, mix well and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes. Heat brown sugar in a non-stick pan. Add rum, remaining paprika and butter, mix and let the butter melt. Add salt, stir to mix and bring to a boil. Cook till the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside. Heat oil in another non-stick pan. Add marinated chicken drumsticks and cook, rotating the drumsticks till they get seared all around. Cover and cook till chicken is browned. Add rum sauce, mix, cover and cook till the chicken is fully done.
