Ingredients list for Double Chocolate Brownie
- 1/4 cup White chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 cup Castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup + for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 2 Eggs
- for greasing Butter
- 3 tablespoons Chocolate hazelnut spread
- to garnish Digestive biscuits crushed
- to garnish Fresh raspberries
- to garnish Fresh blueberries
- to garnish Fresh strawberries
- to serve Vanilla ice cream
Method
- Preheat oven to 180˚ C.
- Take powdered sugar in a bowl, add baking powder, salt, refined flour and cocoa powder and mix well.
- Add vanilla essence, oil, and break in the eggs and whisk well. Add white chocolate chips and mix well.
- Grease a glass baking dish with butter and dust with flour.
- Transfer ½ of the mixture into the baking dish, drizzle chocolate-hazelnut spread and top with the remaining batter. Tap the dish lightly on the worktop, keep the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and cool slightly. Cut into pieces and arrange them on one corner of a serving platter. Keep a little crushed biscuits on the opposite corner of the platter and keep a quenelle of ice cream on top of it. Garnish the brownie pieces with raspberries, blueberries and strawberries and serve immediately.
