By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Penne , Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Noodles and Pastas Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Desi Pasta 2 cups Penne paste 2 tablespoons Oil 3/4 tablespoons Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon White sesame seeds 3 cloves Garlic chopped 2 medium Onion finely chopped 3 Tomato chopped 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sesame seeds and saute for a minute. Add garlic and onion and saute till onions turn brown in color. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dried oregano and salt and cook till the tomatoes gets cooked. Add the boiled pasta and toss well.
