By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Broken wheat (dalia), Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dalia Kheer 5 tablespoons Broken wheat (dalia) 2 tablespoons Ghee 8-10 Cashewnuts , broken 2 1/2 cups Milk 3 tablespoons Jaggery powder 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder a pinch Nutmeg powder Method Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add cashewnuts and saute till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Add broken wheat to the ghee remaining in the cooker and sauté on medium heat for 1 minute. Add milk, jaggery powder, green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and mix well. Add half of fried cashewnuts, cover and pressure cook on high heat for 5-6 minutes.
