Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whisked yogurt
- 4 medium guavas
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
Method
- Remove the seeds and cut the guavas into small pieces. Heat the oil in a non stick kadai; add the asafoetida, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and guavas and stir to mix.
- Add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and green chillies. Mix well.
- Add the whisked yogurt, salt and garam masala powder and stir to mix.
- Cook on medium heat for three to four minutes. Serve hot.
