Ingredients list for Cucumber and Dill Sandwich with Philadelphia Sprea

  • 2 large Cucumbers peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (suva) chopped
  • 1 cup Cheese Philadelphia
  • 8 Brown bread slices
  • 5-6 Fresh basil leaves shredded
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4-5 Iceberg lettuce leaves shredded
  • 4-5 lollo rosso lettuce leaves shredded

Method

  1. Take Philadelphia cheese in a bowl. Add basil, crushed peppercorns, salt and lemon juice and mix well.
  2. Take cucumber slices in another bowl. Add dill, salt, crushed peppercorns and olive oil and mix well.
  3. Spread a portion of the cheese mixture onto 4 bread slices. Top with iceberg lettuce, lollo rosso lettuce and 8-9 cucumber slices and cover with remaining 4 bread slices.
  4. Discard edges, cut into rectangles and serve immediately.
