Ingredients list for Cucumber and Dill Sandwich with Philadelphia Sprea
- 2 large Cucumbers peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (suva) chopped
- 1 cup Cheese Philadelphia
- 8 Brown bread slices
- 5-6 Fresh basil leaves shredded
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 4-5 Iceberg lettuce leaves shredded
- 4-5 lollo rosso lettuce leaves shredded
Method
- Take Philadelphia cheese in a bowl. Add basil, crushed peppercorns, salt and lemon juice and mix well.
- Take cucumber slices in another bowl. Add dill, salt, crushed peppercorns and olive oil and mix well.
- Spread a portion of the cheese mixture onto 4 bread slices. Top with iceberg lettuce, lollo rosso lettuce and 8-9 cucumber slices and cover with remaining 4 bread slices.
- Discard edges, cut into rectangles and serve immediately.
