Ingredients list for Crumbed Chicken Fingers
- 6 Boneless chicken breast
- 1 Big Egg beaten
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup Seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Cut chicken breasts in long strips. In a small bowl combine the egg, buttermilk, finely chopped garlic and salt.
- Mix together, marinate the chicken in this mixture for atleast two hours.
- In another bowl mix together the flour, seasoned bread crumbs and baking powder.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and drain. Discard the buttermilk mixture.
- Place chicken in flour mixture bowl. Shake well to coat evenly. In a large skillet, heat oil.
- Add chicken and fry in hot oil until golden brown and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels and serve with tomato ketchup or chutney.
