Ingredients list for Corn Patties
- 1 cup American Corn blanched
- 1 teaspoon Bread chopped
- 1 Green chilli chopped
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)
- 2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- 4 slices Bread hand torn
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Grind the sweet corns along with ginger and green chilli.
- In a bowl mix together corn kernels paste, ginger, green chillies, red chilli powder, chaat masala, dry mango powder, chopped fresh coriander, corn flour, bread slices and salt.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties.Coat the patties with breadcrumbs and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the patties till golden brown on both the sides and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
