Ingredients list for Coconut rice
- 1/2 cup Scraped coconut
- 1 1/2 cups Cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- 1 teaspoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 5-6 Curry leaves
- 1 Green chilli, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and curry leaves and saute for a minute.
- Add green chillies and coconut and cook for a minute.
- Add salt and black pepper powder along with rice and mix well.Serve hot.
