Ingredients list for Citrus Sizzling Prawns
- 36-40 Medium prawns
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 Spring onions with greens
- 1 medium Onion
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1/4 medium Red capsicum
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Parsley, finely chopped
Method
- Heat a sizzler plate. Cut spring onion greens into ½ inch pieces.
- Slice spring onion bulb and onion. Roughly chop garlic and red capsicum and put in a mixer jar.
- Add 2 tbsps lemon juice and salt and grind coarsely. Transfer into a bowl.
- Add prawns and mix well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and spring onion bulb and sauté till translucent.
- Add prawns along with the marinade and stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Keep the sizzler plate on the wooden base. Put the spring onion greens on it.
- Add the remaining lemon juice and salt to prawns and mix.
- Put prawns over the spring onion greens on the sizzler plate.
- Serve immediately garnished with parsley.
