Ingredients list for Chocolate Strawberry Roll Ups

  • 7-8 Strawberries
  • For topping Chocolate sauce hazelnut flavoured
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • for coating Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • for garnishing Maple syrup


  1. Hull and cut strawberries into small pieces.
  2. Trim off edges of bread slices and roll them with a rolling pin.
  3. Spread some chocolate-hazelnut sauce on one side of each slice. Put some strawberries over the sauce and roll.
  4. Break eggs into a bowl. Add vanilla essence and whisk. Add milk and whisk well.
  5. Spread some castor sugar on a plate. Add cinnamon powder and mix well.
  6. Heat butter in a non-stick pan.
  7. Dip each bread roll in the egg mixture, place on hot pan and shallow-fry till golden all around. Drain and roll with sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  8. Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle some maple syrup on top. Serve immediately.
