Chocolate Naankhatai Nankhatais are Indian style cookies that have a wonderful flavour of puree ghee This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cocoa powder, Refined flour Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chocolate Naankhatai 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder 1 cup Refined flour 1/2 cup Gram flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda 1 teaspoon Instant coffee powder 2 tablespoons Almond meal 1 cup Powdered sugar a pinch Salt 1/2 cup Ghee for drizzling Chocolate syrup Method Preheat the oven to 160˚C. Sift together refined flour, gram flour, baking powder, baking soda, coffee powder, cocoa powder and almond meal into a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Add salt and mix well. Add ghee and mix well to form medium soft dough. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into a smooth ball and flatten it slightly and keep on the lined tray. Make a small dent in centre of each cookie. If the cookies have a cracked surface, add a little more ghee to the dough and mix well. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Bring the tray out of the oven and let the cookies cool down.
