Ingredients list for Chocolate Mawa Cupcakes
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- 200 grams Mawa (khoya) crumbled
- 140 grams Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 120 grams Butter
- 250 grams Condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 80 millilitres Milk
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Sift the flour with baking powder and baking soda into a deep bowl.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and condensed milk together till light and fluffy. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Fold the flour lightly into the butter mixture. Add the milk and mawa and mix well.
- Arrange the cupcake moulds on a baking tray and pour the batter evenly into each mould. Do not fill them up to the top.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and place the tray in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Demould and serve.
