Ingredients list for Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream
- 100 grams Dark chocolate
- 1½ cups Milk
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- + for greasing Butter ½ cup + 1 tablespoon
- ¾ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- ½ cup Walnuts
- 1 cup Fresh cream
- 1 cup Chocolate ganache
- ½ cup Powdered sugar
Method
- Preheat oven at 180º C. Grease an eight inch square cake tin with some butter.
- Sieve together the flour and baking powder in a bowl.
- Combine the chocolate and butter in microwave safe bowl and soften in the microwave for a minute.
- Beat together the castor sugar, eggs and vanilla essence in another bowl. Add the flour mixture and walnuts and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake tin, put the tin in the preheated oven and bake for forty-five minutes. Remove from heat, cool, demould and cut into squares.
- Blend together the milk, cream, chocolate ganache, powdered sugar and brownie squares till smooth.
- Transfer the mixture in an airtight container and refrigerate for eight to ten hours.
- Scoop and serve.
