Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Prep Time : 16-20 minutes

Cook time : 41-50 minutes

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka Lasagna Recipe

  • Chicken tikka , chopped 250 grams

  • Lasagne sheets 6

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic , chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Tomatoes , blanched and chopped 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves , chopped 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • White sauce 1 cup

  • Mozzarella cheese , grated 3-4 tablespoons


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till the raw smells disappear. Add tomatoes, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Add salt, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chicken tikka, red chilli flakes and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Put some chicken tikka mixture in a glass baking dish. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons white sauce and place 2 lasagna sheets over it. Repeat these layers twice ending with chicken mixture. Drizzle the remaining white sauce over.

Step 5

Sprinkle ½ tablespoon coriander leaves and spread mozzarella cheese on top. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Step 6

Cut into 4 equal pieces and serve hot.
