Ingredients list for Chicken Stew
- 750 grams Chicken cut into 1½ inch cubes
- 3 cups Chicken stock
- 8-10 Garlic cloves
- 2 medium Potatoes
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 6-8 French beans
- 2 tablespoons Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 3 medium Carrots
- 1 medium Onion
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
Method
- Slice onion and garlic. Cube potatoes.
- Heat olive oil in a non stick pan, add onion and garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile cube the carrots. Add potatoes and carrots to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chicken and continue to sauté. Cut French beans into small pieces.
- Add whole wheat flour to the chicken and mix well. Sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken stock, salt, pepper powder and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is almost done.
- Add French beans and milk and cook for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with garlic bread.
