Ingredients list for Chicken Souvlaki

  • 400 grams Boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2-3 tablespoons Thick yogurt
  • 2-4 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh oregano chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • Oil for grilling


  1. Take the chicken pieces in a bowl. Add the garlic, lemon juice, yogurt, olive oil, oregano, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well and set aside to marinate for thirty to forty minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers
  3. Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the skewers on the pan and grill for three to four minutes on both sides.
  4. Serve hot.
