Ingredients list for Chicken Souvlaki
- 400 grams Boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2-3 tablespoons Thick yogurt
- 2-4 Garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Fresh oregano chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- Oil for grilling
Method
- Take the chicken pieces in a bowl. Add the garlic, lemon juice, yogurt, olive oil, oregano, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well and set aside to marinate for thirty to forty minutes.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers
- Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the skewers on the pan and grill for three to four minutes on both sides.
- Serve hot.
