Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
 - 1 cup mayonnaise
 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
 - Black pepper powder to taste
 - 1 celery stalk, sliced thinly
 - 1 small apple
 - 1 egg, hard boiled
 - 2 medium carrots, peeled , sliced thinly and blanched
 - 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
 - Salt to taste
 - 4 lettuce leaves
 
Method
- Boil chicken breasts in salted water for fifteen minutes. Cool and shred. Sprinkle lemon juice, a pinch of salt, black pepper powder and MSG.
 - Soak celery in chilled water for ten minutes. Drain and wipe dry.
 - Peel and core apple and slice thinly. Soak in salt chilled water for ten minutes and drain.
 - Chop egg white and pass the yolk through a sieve.
 - Place chicken, celery, apple, egg white, carrots and onion in a bowl.
 - Pour over mayonnaise and toss well. Adjust salt and black pepper powder.
 - Arrange lettuce leaves in a serving plate and transfer salad on it. Garnish with sieved yolk and serve immediately.
