Ingredients
- 600 grams chicken breasts
- 3 cups nachos
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons fried garlic
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 1½ tablespoons mustard sauce
- 4 tablespoons cheese spread
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 3 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 eggs
- Oil for deep frying
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- Cut the chicken into 2-inch triangles and put them into a bowl. Add salt, onion powder, fried garlic, crushed black peppercorns, mustard sauce and cheese spread and mix well. Add rice flour, cornflour, and coriander leaves and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 20-25 minutes.
- Take nachos in a large bowl and crush them coarsely.
- Break the eggs into the chicken mixture and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan, coat each chicken piece with the crushed nachos slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
