Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients for Chicken Kasoori Methi Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken cut into ½ inch cubes 400 grams

  • Kasoori Methi roasted and powdered 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger-garlic paste 3 teaspoons

  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onions chopped 2 medium

  • Cream 1 cup


Step 1

Combine chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt in a bowl and set aside to marinate for ten to twenty minutes.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till it turns golden.

Step 3

Add marinated chicken, mix well and cook till the chicken is three-fourth done. Add cream and powdered fenugreek leaves and mix well. Cook for three minutes or till the chicken is fully done.

Step 4

Serve hot.
