Ingredients list for Chicken Burritos
- 4 Whole Wheat Tortillas
- 4 tablespoons Boneless Chicken
- Filling
- 250 grams Boneless chicken cut into strips
- 1/2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- to taste Salt
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 3-4 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1/2 small Green capsicum cut into strips
- 1 Spring onion chopped diagonally
Method
- For the filling, marinate the chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, chilli flakes and salt for half an hour.
- Heat three tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic and sauté for half a minute. Add the marinated chicken, capsicum and spring onion and cook on medium heat till the chicken is tender.
- Check the seasonings and remove from heat. Divide into four portions.
- At the time of serving, warm the tortillas, spread a tablespoon of salsa over each.
- Over that spread a portion of the hot chicken mixture at one end and roll the tortillas.
- Serve warm immediately.
