Ingredients list for Chicken Basket

  • 200 grams Boneless chicken boiled, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 8-10 canapé shells
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
  • to taste Salt
  • to garnish Red capsicum curls

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onion and sauté till translucent.
  2. Add flour and sauté for 30 seconds. Add milk, whisk and cook till the sauce thickens. Add chicken and cheese, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add salt and mix well. Transfer into a bowl.
  3. Put some chicken mixture in each canapé.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with capsicum curls.
