Ingredients list for Chenna Poda
- 1/2 kilogram Chenna
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 1 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Malted chocolate powder
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped
- for greasing Oil
- for garnishing Chocolate sauce
Method
- Preheat oven at 200° C.
- Mash together chenna, semolina, sugar, chocolate powder and green cardamom powder in a large bowl. Add almonds, pistachios and mix well.
- Grease a cake tin with oil.
- Pour the chenna poda mixture into the tin. Cover the tin with a lid and place a bowl of water over it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cut into pieces. Transfer onto a serving plate, drizzle some chocolate sauce and serve.
