By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Button mushrooms, Oil Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms 12-16 medium Button mushrooms to deep fry Oil 1 tablespoon + 10-12 Garlic cloves chopped 2 medium onions chopped 3-4 Green chillies chopped ¼ cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1¼ cups Processed cheese ¾ cup Refined flour (maida) sieved 2-3 cups Bread crumbs Method Remove stems from mushrooms and chop them. Make a cavity in each mushroom cap with the tip of a knife. Set aside. Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan. Add garlic and onions sauté till translucent. Add chopped mushroom stems and green chillies. Cook until all the moisture evaporates. Add coriander leaves, salt and black pepper powder. Sauté for a minute. Remove from heat and add cheese and mix. Stuff the mushrooms caps with this mixture. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add sufficient water to make a batter of coating consistency. Add salt to taste. Spread the breadcrumbs in a plate. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the mushrooms in the batter and then roll in the breadcrumbs to coat evenly. Repeat the procedure once again. Deep-fry till golden brown. Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.
