Ingredients list for Cheese Stuffed Olives

  • 20-24 Green olives pitted
  • 1/4 cup Processed cheese grated
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs


  1. Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
  2. Combine processed cheese, cream cheese, salt, mixed herbs, chilli flakes and garlic in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Stuff the olives with the cheese mixture.
  4. Break the egg in a bowl, add a few drops of water and beat well. Spread the flour and breadcrumbs on two separate plates.
  5. Coat the stuffed olives with flour, dip in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs. Dip them once again in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Slide them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  7. Serve hot.
