Ingredients list for Chatpata Corn

  • 2 cups Corn niblets boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Jowar
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Cucumber peeled
  • 3/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/4 cup Raw peanuts boiled
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves

Method

  1. Heat a non stick pan. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and chop finely. When the pan is well heated, add the jowar and toss and roast.
  2. When the jowar begins to puff, cover and let them puff completely. Remove the lid and cool. Remove the seeds from the cucumber and chop finely
  3. Place the tomatoes and cucumber in a mixing bowl. Add corn, peanuts, red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala and lemon juice. Chop coriander leaves and add. Toss with 2 spoons.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle the puffed jowar on top and serve immediately.
