Ingredients list for Charmuri
- 8 cups Puffed Rice
- 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 8-10 Curry leaves
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- a pinch Turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup roasted chana
- 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts
- 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté for half a minute and then add to puffed rice kept in a bowl.
- Add onions, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted chana, peanuts, one tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle remaining coriander leaves and serve immediately.
