Ingredients list for Butter Chakli-SK Khazana

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 3/4 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • for greasi to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan. Add salt, cumin seeds and butter and mix till butter melts.
  2. Add semolina, mix well and cook till mixture thickens. Transfer into a bowl and let it cool.
  3. Add rice flour and mix. Add 1 cup water and knead to a stiff dough.
  4. Grease a chakli press with some oil and put a portion of dough in it. Press to form chaklis and keep them on butter paper.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chaklis till light golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve.
