Ingredients list for Butter Caramel Kheer with Cupcakes
- 6 Mava Cup Cakes
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp + for garnishing Almonds finely chopped
- 1 tbsp + for garnishing Pistachios finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 litre Milk
- 5 tablespoons Soaked rice
Method
- Heat sugar in a non-stick pan, add 2-3 tbsps water and cook till the sugar caramelizes.
- Add almonds, pistachios, butter, milk and rice and mix well. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring a few times, till the rice is cooked and the kheer is thick.
- Place mava cup cakes on a serving plate, pour the hot kheer over them, garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve.
