Ingredients
- 4 cups puffed rice (kurmura / murmura)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic cloves, sliced
- ½ cup raw peanuts
- 1 sprig of curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and raw peanuts and sauté on low heat for 4-5 minutes. Add curry leaves and sauté till fragrant on low heat.
- Add red chilli powder, dried mango powder, salt and mix well and sauté for 1 minute on low heat.
- Add puffed rice, mix well and sauté for 6-8 minutes on low heat. Switch off the heat. Set aside to cool down.
- Transfer bhadang into an airtight container and serve as and when required.
