Ingredients list for Besan ka Halwa
- 2 cups Gram Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Khoya
- for garnishing Almonds 1 tbsp chopped +
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 1 1/2 cups Khoya / mawa grated
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add almonds, cashewnuts and raisins and sauté for a minute.
- Add gram flour, reduce heat and sauté for 6-8 minutes or till fragrant.
- Add khoya and palm jaggery and cook, stirring continuously, till jaggery melts.
- Add milk and mix well. Cook on high heat till halwa thickens.
- Switch off the heat and transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with almonds and serve.
