Ingredients list for Besan Omelet

  • 1 1/2 cups Gram flour (besan)
  • 3-4 Green chillies
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves 1
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 large Tomato chopped
  • as required Oil

Method

  1. Grind green chillies, ginger and garlic to a paste. Mix besan, ground paste, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt and chopped tomato.
  2. Add water and make thin batter. Heat a tawa, grease with a little oil and then and pour a little batter.
  3. Spread into a thin round and then cook till golden. Flip over, drizzle a little oil and cook till the other side is also golden. Serve immediately.
