Ingredients list for Beetroot Tikki-SK Khazana
- 4 Medium beetroots boiled, peeled and mashed
- 2 Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger-green chilli paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon Rice flour
- for drizzling Oil
Method
- Mix together beetroot and potatoes in a bowl.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Add onion and dry roast till light golden.
- Add salt, ginger-green chilli paste and chaat masala to the bowl.
- Add the roasted onion to the bowl and mix well. Add rice flour and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the tikkis on it, drizzle some oil on top and fry, turning sides, till evenly done on both the sides.
- Serve hot.
