Ingredients list for Beetroot Tikki-SK Khazana

  • 4 Medium beetroots boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 2 Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 Medium onion finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger-green chilli paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • for drizzling Oil

Method

  1. Mix together beetroot and potatoes in a bowl.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan. Add onion and dry roast till light golden.
  3. Add salt, ginger-green chilli paste and chaat masala to the bowl.
  4. Add the roasted onion to the bowl and mix well. Add rice flour and mix well.
  5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis.
  6. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the tikkis on it, drizzle some oil on top and fry, turning sides, till evenly done on both the sides.
  7. Serve hot.
