Ingredients list for Baked Chicken Fingers

  • 4 Boneless Chicken cut into fingers
  • to taste Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 1/2 cup Corn flakes
  • 3/4 cup Almonds sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Egg white


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place chicken fingers in a bowl, add salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp crushed black peppercorns, ½ tsp mustard powder, garlic and lemon juice and mix well.
  3. In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, remaining red chilli powder, remaining crushed black peppercorns and remaining mustard powder.
  4. Crush cornflakes in a mortar pestle. Add flour mixture and almonds and mix well.
  5. Add egg white to the chicken fingers and mix. Roll them in the flour mixture and dust off excess.
  6. Place a silicon sheet on a baking tray. Place the chicken fingers on it and brush them with extra virgin olive oil. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
