Ingredients list for Baked Chicken Fingers
- 4 Boneless Chicken cut into fingers
- to taste Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Crushed black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon Mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1/2 cup Corn flakes
- 3/4 cup Almonds sliced
- 2 teaspoons Egg white
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Place chicken fingers in a bowl, add salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp crushed black peppercorns, ½ tsp mustard powder, garlic and lemon juice and mix well.
- In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, remaining red chilli powder, remaining crushed black peppercorns and remaining mustard powder.
- Crush cornflakes in a mortar pestle. Add flour mixture and almonds and mix well.
- Add egg white to the chicken fingers and mix. Roll them in the flour mixture and dust off excess.
- Place a silicon sheet on a baking tray. Place the chicken fingers on it and brush them with extra virgin olive oil. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
