Ingredients list for Bajra Dosa
- 1 cup Bajra
- 1/4 cup Idli rawa
- 1/4 cup Whole black gram (sabut urad)
- 1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- to taste Salt
- as required Oil
Method
- Wash and soak pearl millet, idli rawa, black gram and fenugreek seeds together for six to seven hours.
- Grind them together to a smooth batter, adding water as needed. Add salt and mix well. Set aside to ferment for five to six hours.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a dosa. Drizzle some oil along the edges and cook till the corners start lifting up. Flip and cook till the other side is also fully done.
- Serve hot with chutney and sambhar.
