Ingredients list for Baby Uttapam
- 2 cups Rice soaked
- 1 cup Split Black Gram
- to taste Salt
- to cook Oil
- For topping
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 medium Green capsicum
- 1 medium Tomato
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
Method
- Drain and grind urad till fine and fluffy.
Transfer into a bowl. - Drain and grind rice till smooth.
And transfer it into the same bowl and mix the two batters well. - Set aside in a warm place to ferment overnight.
Add salt and whisk well. - Heat a non stick dosa tawa and spread small amounts of batter into small uttapams keeping a little distance between each.
Slice onion and sprinkle a little on each uttapam. - Slice green capsicum and sprinkle a little on each uttapam. Slice tomato and sprinkle a little on each uttapam.
- Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese on each.
Drizzle a little oil around each, cover and cook on medium heat till they get cooked and the cheese melts.
Serve hot.
