Ingredients
- 1 medium apple peeled and cut into small cubes
- 10-12 walnut broken
- 2 cups yogurt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tbsp + 1 chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil
- a pinch asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- Roasted cumin powder to sprinkle
Method
- Mix together yogurt, sugar, 1 tbsp chaat masala and whisk well. Add rose water and salt and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add asafoetida, apple and toss. Add walnuts and sauté till the apples are lightly caramelized. Add red chilli powder and remaining chaat masala and toss. Transfer into a bowl.
- Add mint leaves, 1 cup yogurt and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl. Add the remaining yogurt. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and garnish with a walnut. Serve.
