This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Apr 2015 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Apple, Custard Apple Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 2-2.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Apple and Sitaphal Barfi 3-4 medium Apple peeled and finely chopped 2 medium Custard Apple pulp removed 2 tbsps + Ghee 1½ cups Khoya/mawa grated 1 cup Condensed milk 1 tablespoon Sugar 6-7 Pistachios blanched and sliced ¼ teaspoon Green cardamom powder Method Grease a barfi tray with some ghee. Heat 2 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan, add apple and sauté till they turn soft. Add khoya, condensed milk, sugar, pistachios and cardamom powder, mix well and cook for 6-8 minutes or till the mixture thickens. Reduce heat, add custard apple pulp, mix well and cook for ½ minute. Transfer the mixture into the greased tray and spread evenly. Refrigerate till set. Cut into your choice of shape and serve.
