Ingredients
- 5-6 medium ripe guavas, peeled and cut int 1 inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon panch phoran
- 3/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Method
- Heat ghee in a kadai and add asafoetida and panch phoran. When a nice aroma is given out, add guava pieces and stir.
- Add red chilli powder, salt and sugar and mix. Add half a cup of water, cover and cook on low heat for seven to eight minutes or till the guava pieces become soft.
- Serve hot.
