Ingredients list for 5 Seeds Chocolate Magas

  • 1 tablespoon Melon seeds (magaz) roasted
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds (kale til) roasted
  • 1 teaspoon White sesame seeds roasted
  • 1 tablespoon Green pumpkin seeda roasted
  • 1 tablespoon Flax seeds roasted
  • as required Milk chocolate melted
  • as required Dark chocolate melted
  • 2 cups Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup + for greasing Ghee
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

Method

  1. Take melon seeds, black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and flax seeds in a bowl and mix well. Grease a burfi tray with a little ghee.
  2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add gram flour and sauté on low heat for 15-20 minutes or till its colour changes and it becomes fragrant. Take the pan off the heat and set aside to cool slightly. Add powdered sugar and green cardamom powder and mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto the prepared burfi tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle seed mixture and press lightly. When it is completely cooled, cut into squares.
  4. Dip one side of half the squares in milk chocolate and one side of remaining half in dark chocolate. Keep them on a platter for 5-10 minutes to set before serving.
