Ingredients for Turai Moong Dal - SKK Recipe

  • Ridge gourd (turai) scraped and roughly chopped 500 grams

  • Split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal) soaked for 30 minutes and drained 1/2 cup

  • Ghee 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger grated 1 inches

  • Salt to taste

  • Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala sachet 1 (20 gram

  • Medium toamtoes chopped 2

  • Fresh coriander sprigs for garnish


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ginger and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 2

Add ridge gourd and sauté well. Add salt, mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala, tomatoes and green gram, mix well, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes. Adjust salt, if required.

Step 4

Garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
